Baltimore City Youth Lacrosse

The Baltimore City Youth Lacrosse Club welcomes youths to explore the exhilarating sport of Lacrosse. Our club is made up of 6 teams. Our Red, Yellow, Blue and Green teams are recommended for beginners. These teams are clinical non contact Co-Ed teams ranging in ages from 3 to 5 years old. Our little Tykes at the clinical age are taught the basic skills and rules of Lacrosse using small group activities, scrimmages and fun games. Individual skills such as catching, throwing, scooping and cradling are also taught. Soft-stix and balls are given to the children. We ask that the children wear cleats.

The 6 to 8 age group team is for the children with basic Lacrosse experience. They are taught Lacrosse strategies to improve basic skills and teach team concepts in a fun environment. This is the level where they are prepared for physical contact and competitions. Equipment will be given to the children. We ask that the children wear cleats to prevent sliding during the competition and practice.

The Baltimore City Youth Lacrosse Club recommends our 9 to 10 age group traveling team for children with lacrosse experience along with a mixture of other sports. The mixture of the other sports helps to build the endurance and sportsmanship of the athletes. This group is continually taught the fundamentals of Lacrosse along with the competitiveness of the sport.

The Baltimore City Youth Lacrosse Club's philosophy is to provide all children with the opportunity to develop sports skills in a fun, competitive and non-competitive environment.
